Living In New York City
Hey Loves,
Yes that right I had the opportunity to live in New York City for a month. I took college credit fashion classes at LIM College ( Laboratory Institute Merchandising). The program that I participated in was the LIM's Fashion Lab 2014. I studied Fashion Buying and Retailing as well as Fashion Styling. I lived in the dorms, at the LIM's 1760 residence hall. I had an amazing room, with two other roommates. Also it was great, because we had a private bathroom that we all three shared. At first I was scared of living in the big city all alone, but that did not last long. I adjusted very well to the fast paced New York City life. Also, I met so many new people and experienced new things. All of the classes were held in Maxwell, which is a train ride away from the dorms. ( I had to take the 6 train downtown). The classes began everyday at 10:00 a.m until 3:00 p.m. Each day after classes my roommates and I would go out then eat dinner. Soho was my favorite place shop when I was there. Soho has variety of the stores from H&M to DASH. I think Soho is the best place to shop when you are with several people that have different budgets and styles. The last day of classes the fashion show production class put on an amazing fashion show. I absolutely loved it. It was an amazing experience. I am so glad that, I had the chance to experience the college life a year early. Now I really feel like I am prepared to live on my own. LIM's fashion Lab offers a variety of classes. I would strongly recommend LIM's Fashion Lab to any fashionista in high school who wants to learn the ins and outs of the fashion business. Also before I forget.... The most important lesson that I learned in NYC was how important Net Working is, and making connections. And the best part of my NYC trip was visiting my Uncle at the Talbots photo shoot and then having a fabulous dinner with him. We had an amazing dinner on The STK rooftop.

My two roommates and I all had are space. We had a desk, bed and closet and roll out drawers under the bed.
My New Style Obession "Shirt Tied around The Waist"
I had the chance to live in New York City for a month. When I was there my love, for tying a button up shirt around my waist grew tremendously.I just absolutely love this look. A flannel or solid button up tied around the waist is a perfect causal look. I even witnessed models rocking this look. Selita Ebanks, for example is a model that was spotted rocking a flannel around her waist on the streets of New York City. The one day she was working with my Uncle Bill on the Talbot's fall photo shoot, and we were so twinning with the shirt around the waist. He sent me a picture of her rocking a similar look.

Prom 2014 "Arabian Nights"
Hey Dolls,
I went to my Junior Prom this Friday! I Had a blast dancing, and talking with friends. The theme this year was "Arabian Nights". I absolutely loved my look. I felt and looked like a Goddess. I am so glad that, I decided to go with the head-chain, and the this gorgeous dress. I got my dress from a fabulous boutique in New Jersey. I received so many compliments from everyone. A teacher said to me " you won and you are best dressed and she called me "Miss Glamours". This look was a complete show stopper. Senior prom is coming next year, and I can't wait to be fabulous again.
